In addition to income qualifications, applicants and all household members 18 years and older must complete the following steps.

Step 1:

  • Submit Tenant Inquiry Release Form (English & Spanish forms below)
  • Pass background screening ($40 fee per adult person)
  • Submit Identification (ID) and Social Security Cards

Step 2:

  • Complete additional paperwork (after successful screening)
  • Pay the first month’s rent and deposit, if accepted.

Eligibility for Subsidized Units

Applicants must meet the eligibility guidelines for 30% or below based on your household size as noted in the AMI link below. Neighbor to Neighbor has a waitlist for these properties, and at this time, the waitlist is closed.

Additional Qualifications

  • Applicants must meet citizenship or eligible immigration requirements
  • Household members 18 years of age or older must pay a $40 nonrefundable application fee
  • Household must have a background free of violent or drug-related criminal activity
  • Applicants must also pass the screening criteria of the landlord
  • Household members may not owe money to another landlord or utility company
