Community Programs and Reduced Fee Services:
A federal benefit that lowers the monthly cost of phone or internet service for qualifying applicants.
All-in-one application portal to discounted services and municipal benefits offered by the City of Fort Collins, for income-eligible residents. Some of the programs include:
- The Grocery Rebate Program is accepting applications starting August 1, 2022. This program is year round. One application per household each calendar year.
- Connexion Discount Program: Digital Inclusion Program is an income-qualified rate of $20 per month for 1 gig-speed of internet plus wireless. Applications are accepted all year.
- Recreation Reduced Fee Program: Provides income-eligible families and residents reduced cost access to recreation programs, classes, and facilities across the community.

Larimer County Digital Roots for Job Seekers is a community program to help you grow your digital skills. They have resources and support to help you with: Creating an email account; Completing an online job application; Using virtual meeting platforms; Updating or reformatting resumes; Navigating online job searches; Developing a career profile on Indeed, LinkedIn and others; Researching in-demand jobs in Northern Colorado. Office on Aging Voucher Programs
Larimer County’s Office on Aging offers several resources, guides and voucher programs geared towards older adults and caregiver support in our community. Market Days! for Older Adults in Larimer County
Market Days! for Older Adults addresses food insecurity among older adults while supporting local agriculture. Market Days! buys food from local Larimer County Farmers’ Market vendors, volunteers bag up the produce, and recipients either pick up or receive their produce by delivery from a volunteer. Participants receive $18 worth of fresh produce bag every other week from June until the end of October. Youth and Young Adult Programs, Services and Educational Opportunities:
I Matter Program offers Colorado kids up to six free mental health sessions. Spanish language version of the program can be found at YoImportoColorado.org.
Provides empowerment for teens through resources, mentorship, teen-driven curriculum, group activities, and peer-to-peer programs designed to create community, build relationships, and strengthen the sense of self needed to navigate today’s culture and process their lives. In addition to programming, SNAPP features online resources for parents and teens. SNAPP sessions are FREE semester-long programs where participants meet weekly and engage in guided discussions. Topics are teen driven and may include stress, body image, friendship, bullying, anxiety and more.

To qualify as a recipient of a free bed, you must be the legal guardian of the child or children ages 3-17 years old receiving the bed. Please submit this online SHP Application Form mentioned above. Front Range Community College – Colorado Opportunity Scholarship Initiative (COSI) Grant
“Finish What You Started” grant is geared towards re-engaging students who have either been out of school for more than two years, or who have applied to the college but did not enroll in classes during the pandemic.
“Back to Work” grant supports Coloradans who have been out of school and are now studying in programs aligned with Colorado Top Jobs, including fields such as health care, education, early childhood, and information technology.

Colorado Department of Public Health: Legal Assistance for Older Adults
Pet/Support Animal Services and Programs:
Dumb Friends League has a list of locations for receiving subsidized veterinary care as well as a short-term Pet Assist Program that helps those in need of a temporary safe place for their pet to live due to a variety of factors that leave them unable to care for their animals and when no other assistance is available.
The Colorado Pet Pantry will temporarily feed Colorado pets, allowing families to increase their ability to care for pets with the goal of keeping them out of shelters and with their families. Find a Pet Food Bank near you.
